Details
Helen has spent fifteen years transforming her house into a haven of light and colour against the desolate South African plains. But, following an accident, a darkness is setting in. The deeply religious community, who have always been offended by Helen's sculptures, refuse to help her in her time of need. When the local minister urges she move from her home to be cared for, an idealistic young friend is suspicious of his motives and fights for Helen's right to remain in her personal Mecca. Over one night, Helen is forced to make a decision that will determine the rest of her life.
