Samuel Taylor Coleridge's epic poem of supernatural terrors. A doomed ship sails through ice fields and sudden storms, circled high above by a solitary albatross. The eagle eyed mariner below narrows his gaze, fixes his target and lets loose his bow. His fate, and that of all his crew mates are sealed in an instant. Physical and musical storytelling at its very best. Inspired by the 18th-century poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, this play follows a mysterious Mariner on an endless sea voyage around the world: but the journey takes a turn for the worse when he decides to kill the albatross which has helped him to navigate, invoking the spirit of the deep. A chilling tale unfolds as the crew meet ghosts and monsters and sail through storms and lands of ice and blistering heat. Running Time: 1 hour. Age 7-11.
