The Open archiveSet in 1950s St Andrews when The Open was a more leisurely event and when even a talented amateur could aspire to win a prize. This comedy features American and British golfers as well as a local St Andrews Caddie - The Louse. Traditionally the play is performed when The Open Golf Championship is in St Andrews. This production will be particularly important as it is the first time that a play by A B Paterson - the founder of The Byre - has been performed in the auditorium which bears his name.
