The Nightingales archiveWhen the local acapella group gather in the village hall they have every reason to look forward to their weekly rehearsal. There's Steven, 60, the Cambridge-educated choirmaster; Diane, his younger wife, who's desperate for a baby; Ben, who was once a professional tennis player married to Diane, who was once a model; and Bruno, a young history teacher, who cares for his mother. They appear to be the friendliest bunch you could imagine. Whatever their differences, whatever the problems they may have at home, all are happily bound together in their shared love of music. The two hours of laughter and harmonies fly by. Until one day newcomer Maggie knocks on the door and everything changes.....

A very witty script brilliantly acted by all 6 of the cast

This play is dire. A clichéd plot and feeble writing. The comic moments are few and not very successful. Save your money and your time and keep away. I cannot give no stars so a reluctant one star is FAR too much.

talented cast, fair script but poor conclusion. I was expecting a 'Stepping Out' scenario but disappointing ending without a message for the future.
