"If you want a red rose" said the tree, "you must build it out of music by moonlight, and stain it with your own heart's blood." What is love and what should we sacrifice for it? When a young student falls head-overheels, the only way to win his heart's desire is to give her the reddest rose in the world. All seems lost until a nightingale hears the student's lament; to what ends will the little bird go to help love succeed? Orange Moon presents a new piece of physical theatre based on Wilde's haunting fairy tale of love and ignorance, selflessness and waste.
