The two chosen plays are Dig from the American writer J.D Smith which explores through dark humour the power struggle between an incompetent killer and a belligerent victim who refuses to dig his own grave. What happens when a gangland killing goes wrong and which is the more frightening weapon - the gun, or the shovel? No More, Salvator is an unusual surreal piece written by Scottish playwright Michael Hart. The artist Salvator Rosa’s paintings hang besides the Mona Lisa for over a hundred years. If they could speak to each other, what would they say? As the two verbally spar, fact and fiction meet in this comedy about love, art and the power of celebrity.
