Details
This quirky thriller captures the verve and danger of London in 1964. We follow Ray and Graham - dog racing obsessives and unnervingly close friends - on a curious night out that ends on the most unexpected and arresting note. Through Heathcote Williams' witty and challenging dialogue we see glints of the new class tension - between the famous and the anonymous - a deep commentary on celebrity culture that is just as thought-provoking today. Made as a film with Al Pacino, which was initially prevented from release, this short, sharp piece never pulls a punch. Two violent and disturbing plays originally staged as companion pieces; this will be the first opportunity to see them performed together since 1966.
