Details
Jack, Eli, and Johnny are best friends. Then Johnny dies on his 21st birthday. Unemployed and underwhelmed, Jack and Eli embark on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, New Zealand, the final resting place of their nation's greatest poet James K. Baxter. Like the main characters in any good road trip story, they try to find themselves, debating the value of love, family and friendship along the way. However, what they discover about themselves, and one another, is more than they bargained for.
The Intricate Art of Actually Caring takes a hard look at what it means to be young in today's world, and the struggle to express yourself to those you love, as well as those you don't.
