Welcome to an evening of magic and illusion with the infamous brothers, Willy and Ira Davenport. Vox Motus make their Citizens Theatre debut with this highly original, visual theatre production. Startling Manifestations. Amazing Revelations. Dark Secrets. It's 1862 and the gaslights are flickering... furniture dances, bodies levitate and the voices of the dead resonate through the theatre. Inspired by their true story, discover the dark undercurrent to the Victorian world of the Davenport Brothers as the showmanship and drama of their onstage presence contrasts with their cruel and curious childhood.
