The Hairless Diva, which appears in its first new English translation for fifty years. Ionesco's first and most famous play is a brilliant black comedy, set in the suburbs of London. Mr and Mrs Smith have forgotten that they have invited Mr and Mrs Martin to dinner. Mr and Mrs Martin have forgotten that they are married. Mary, the Smith's cleaner, thinks she is Sherlock Holmes...The Hairless Diva is a wildly eccentric tale of sheer madness!
