Locked up in a prison in the middle of the desert where the guards' whims are their command, the cellmates thought life couldn't get any weirder... but they were wrong. When cell block 707 takes on a life of its own and breaks away across the shifting sands, everything becomes very odd indeed! With larger than life characters The Arc Senior Youth Theatre's latest show The Deserters is a bizarre and touching comedy devised with Big State Theatre. Lawrence of Arabia meets Prisoner Cell Block H in this Pythonesque romp across the dunes.
