Details

A woman struggles to survive as she descends into the hallucinations, paranoia and psychosis caused by the prolonged isolation of her enforced segregation. A parallel story explores her abusive background, allowing the audience an insight into the torment of her previous life. The Box is a stunning evocation of the physical, psychological and emotional consequences of punitive solitary confinement, leading to an intensely violent and destructive conclusion.
