The Bogus Woman archiveFrom a war-torn African state to conflict in a British Detention Centre, The Bogus Woman follows the journey of a young African poet and journalist, seeking asylum. Caught this show in Edinburgh where it won a Fring first. The acting is extraordinary. Dozens of characters come to life, the writing moving, the politics incendiary. See it and never be disparaging about asylum seekers ever.
