Details
Almost a century after the famous Christmas truce of 1914 and the football match in no-man's land between the British and the Germans, a soldier's letter is found by chance in an antique desk - "Jim's Last Letter: to be buried with me when the time comes." And thus begins the quest to find "Dearest Connie". At a time when the nation will be reflecting on the centenary of the outbreak of The Great War, this production will allow audiences to reflect on the events of a hundred years ago. In commemoration of the centenary of the start of the First World War, Hampshire Youth Theatre (HYT) run by Nuffield, presents a brand new adaptation of this work by War Horse author, Michael Morpurgo.
