The Al-Hamlet Summit transposes Shakespeare's tragedy to a Middle Eastern state on the brink of war, besieged by enemy neighbours from without and a growing politicised Islam from within, and in thrall to US dollars and the arms trade. Performed in Arabic with a simultaneous English translation.
