In January 2007 the British press reported another attempt to foil a terrorist threat - a group trying to make an explosive device using chapatti flour, the central ingredient of Indian bread. The Great British love affair with Indian food had taken on a whole new meaning this time around. As Jiva unpacks his rucksack and cooks chapattis he explores one of the most pressing concerns of our time. Suitable for age 14+ Terror Of Living is part of our Work In Progress series, which gives audiences the chance to see up to the minute theatre from a range of companies before they take flight into fully-fledged productions. Come and experience this miniature season of future theatre. Co-commissioned by Collide and Birmingham Repertory Theatre with support from The Drum and Arts Council England.
