Details
Sulla Morte Senza Esagerare (On Death Without Exaggeration) is a touching performance rooted in traditions of physical theatre, commedia dell'arte and silent-mask theatre which combine in a moving and unconventional exploration of death. Created as a tribute to Nobel Prize winning Polish poet Wislawa Szymborska, Sulla Morte Senza Esagerare is a surreal parable of death told through papier-mâché masks; an ode to last moments, missed opportunities and fond farewells. Pioneering a new theatrical language of mask-theatre, Teatro dei Gordi have toured worldwide presenting their work to critical acclaim, and now make their UK debut.
