Gary Mitchell's
Suicide Brunette deals with Alex, a young single mother of three, as she struggles to come to terms with the choices she has made and the life she could have had. Laced with Mitchell's distinctive black humour, he had created an honest and unflinching account of a life lived in the harsh climate of this modern world.
The Native is a period piece set in the 1950's American West, concerning Marshall Crane, an Arkansas farm boy tortured by his past, who is summoned to an Indian Reservation to murder an innocent girl and her unborn child. It is a beautiful and poetic tale about the power of heartbreak and hope. These newly commissioned solo pieces are inspired by the themes of isolation and redemption.
