Where can you go to talk to people in a big city like London? Pubs, clubs, single bars, internet cafes or perhaps even the...Passport Office!!! Well, there are lots of people waiting, queuing, waiting and queuing - just waiting and for someone to speak to them?
Sharp Relief takes us into Bernard's world and his attempts to make contact with the human race...well women in particular. This play takes a wry look at city life by looking at the life of an individual lost in the urban whirlpool and the people he meets in one day. Contains some strong language. Sponsored by Channel 4. Springboard celebrates its third year by presenting two productions, which are indeed a springboard, not only for the young drama school graduates as performers but also for the young director and new writer. Comparing and contrasting the urban and rural existences these two plays are being performed in repertoire.
