A young girl has lived all her life by a lake. Like a seagull, she loves the lake, and she's happy and free like a seagull. But a man happens to come along and wrecks her life for want of anything better to do. Chekhov's first spectacular flop, The Seagull, abounds in suicidal moods, pessimistic utterances, unhappy love affairs and broken dreams. Volcano's SEAGULLS is for everyone who has felt the agony of ordinariness or laughed uncontrollably at the bitter disappointment of it all.
