It's 1938 and Private Investigator Joe Pirelli and his star-struck assistant Roxy Krasner are called to Hollywood to solve the mysterious disappearance of a Faberge egg and a Soviet submarine, while saving a blockbuster movie from financial ruin. As Roxy goes undercover and joins the cast of "Atlantis - City of 20,000 Mermaids," Joe Pirelli discovers a dastardly plot when a German U Boat becomes a film set. As the jigsaw pieces fit together an unbelievable picture emerges, and the countdown is on to prevent mass destruction on an epic scale that threatens to split the world apart ? literally. Unwittingly assisted by Limelight Larry and the benevolent Salmon sisters, chaos rules both above and beneath the waves.
