Risk Everything archiveThis is the final instalment of the highly successful series called Suburban Motel; a collection of six plays which all take place in the same seedy motel room in urban Canada. The first play of the series was successfully produced at the New End theatre in Nov 2003, where it received critical acclaim. Risk Everything continues the plight of Denise and RJ, a recovering junkie and reality TV addict, as they try unsuccessfully to live life on the straight and narrow. Carol, Denise's mother, a hardened gambling addict pulls them back into the seedy world of loan-sharks, murder and mayhem. Along for the ride is Michael, an 'innocent' bystander and wanna-be porn-king. Running time - 70 mins Risk Everything website.
