A comedy drama which asks some questions about family life in the early twenty-first century. "When does a child become an adult? What makes a good parent? What's it like being 17? What's the real meaning of independence?" 17 year old Will has two mothers. Frances wants to write mysteries; Chris wants to play guitar and join a band. When Will drops out of school he lands in a heap of questions that the mothers rush to answer. But they're not convincing because what's sauce for the geese isn't served up for the gander. They might be trying to rid themselves of theirs but he needs a job.
