Rents archiveA journey of discovering what it means to rent yourself out, from the writer of Mrs Steinberg and the Byker Boy. Rents, is a story of survival. Set on the streets of Edinburgh in the late 70's when homosexuality was still illegal, the story paints a vivid picture of the laughs and gossip versus the hardships of life as a rent boy.
