Meet Allan Felix, film critic and fanatical movie buff - abandoned, inept, neurotic and desperately seeking romance. Obsessed with Casablanca, Felix remodels himself on his hero Humphrey Bogart. Bogie is always on hand to offer helpful tips..."Listen Kid, dames are simple. I never met one who didn't respond to a slap in the mouth or a slug from a .45". But Felix just isn't 'Bogie' and so follows a grotesque catalogue of dating disaster...So, of all the gin joints in all the world - will she walk into his?
