Personal Call - Radio Plays archiveWhen James Brent receives a personal call from his dead wife wanting to meet him at the station where she died, he tries to brush the incident off as a cruel prank. But when his new wife receives a similar message, the ghostly caller becomes impossible to ignore. First broadcast by the BBC on 31 May 1954. Presented as rehearsed readings (with appropriate sound effects!). As with the one act plays, these are presented as 'curtain raisers' giving you the opportunity to see a full length play on the same evening.
