There are 100,000,000,000,000 synapses in the brain. Signals that form memories and thoughts move through an individual nerve cell as a tiny electrical charge, and those nerve cells connect to one another at synapses. The Dot Collective - who provide professional theatre for those in care, ran a series of theatrical, reminiscence workshops with four dementia peer groups in South East London. Inspired by the characters, narratives and themes uncovered, playwrights Chantelle Dusette, Lily Bevan, Lucy Grace and Margaret Perry have written the four short plays that make up One Hundred Trillion. "Be quick to hear and slow to speak." Join us to celebrate all of those electrical charges meeting in this inventive new writing collaboration.
