Octopus Soup! archiveMeet Seymour, the safest man in Britain. An insurance consultant who wears a belt and braces (and another belt, just to be sure). He's in last chance saloon, and everything rests on this one important conference call. What could possibly go wrong? Enter Marvin, a bungling burglar with bad knees... With Seymour's highly neurotic actress wife Gloria awaiting news on a star TV role, the burglar's psychopathic crime boss around the corner, and a share of the £30 billion insurance market at stake, will our heroes and their octopus get out alive?

Not sure whose idea to review as 'hilarious'but its far from that! Certainly not very farcical. Whether it was off night or lack of people in audience but even actors seemed to find it hard going at times. A few people did not treturn after interval and it was only my husband saying we'd give 2nd part a chance that we stayed! He said it was a bit better but I have to disagree!

Absolutely awful script, plot and (over) acting. Totally lacking in humour. We left in the interval along with others. Could not give zero stars but would have if available. Don't waste your money.
