Details

An Englishman and his family have settled across the vast American continent. Brought together by unexpected tragedy, they spend a tense night together in a farmhouse in western Connecticut. History is dredged up, hidden characters are revealed, and the group find comfort in ridiculing their adopted country. Humour, irony and a sense of loss permeate this story of bewildered exiles.
