Details
Based on Adelman's life growing up in Brooklyn with a Jewish wannabe Italian father who taught her how to shoot a gun at 10. Her eclectic bohemian artist mum read Shakespeare to her from the time she was three. In 1995 her father shot and killed her mother and quickly married her aunt. Ultimately, it's about the power of forgiving the unforgivable. This play has performed at The Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival, Until the Violence Stops: NYC Festival, The AZ Coalition against Domestic Violence, Manhattanville College, Repair the World (International Jewish Theatre Festival: Vienna) and will be at the Leeds Jewish International Performing Arts Festival.
