Details
A magnificent and terrifying play from Israel's most admired 20th Century playwright. From 1961 until his death in 1999 Hanoch Levin charted his experience of war and peace through poetry, plays and political satire. His work has never before been performed in this country.
Murder is a chilling, honest and ambitious investigation of unending cycles of violence and the devastating actions of grief. Both Jews and Arabs are revealed in all their horror and fragility. The play asks us to challenge the extraordinary capacity of the human spirit to accept and live with murder.
