Much Ado About Nothing archiveAfter civil war Messina seems to have returned to peace with few casualties and a courtship holds the promise of reconciling the battle of the sexes in a well matched wedding. But the reconciliation's have been too hurried and soldiers can't return to the civilian world overnight. Website Straight from the RSC Fringe Festival, after last year's triumphant 'Romeo & Juliet', Shooting Stars Theatre Company return with our version of 'Much Ado About Nothing'! We set one of Shakespeare's funniest and best-loved comedies in a modern context that's accessible to everyone. With the men returning from fighting in Afghanistan, the ever-present battle of wits between Benedick and Beatrice isn't the only game afoot! As always, Shooting Stars Theatre Company provide a fresh and vibrant take on an old favourite. Performed with our customary boundless energy, 'Much Ado About Nothing' will provide both humour and heartbreak for an audience of all ages.
