Molly Sweeney archiveBlind since shortly after birth, Molly lives a fulfilled life, with a good job and a wide circle of friends. Then Frank Sweeney enters her world...Frank - passionate, impulsive and reckless - takes Molly as his wife and convinces her that she should seek medical treatment to have her sight restored. Their hopes rest in the hands of a once-successful surgeon, now exiled in rural Ireland. But as he seeks to work his miracle, it quickly becomes apparent to Molly that the world she sees before her is very different from the one she had perceived in her mind's eye. From a life of darkness, she finds herself dazzled by the harsh glare of reality, where new-found passion leads to torn loyalties and heartbreak.
