On Saturday April 25th 2009, Hassocks-based mentalist Peter Campbell-Wells went head-to-head with spirit medium Donna Stewart, in a challenge entitled 'Medium vs Magician Experiment'. Chaired by Most Haunted's Ciaran O'Keefe, in front of an audience of believers, sceptics, spiritualists and scientists, Peter demonstrated his ability to give the illusion of psychic abilities and won the contest against an apparently genuine psychic Now, Peter is taking his one-man mindreading show, ‘MENTAL!’ to the Brighton Fringe. The show was developed on comedy stages, and was massively well-received at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008.
