Details
As a finale to working on the Masterclass apprentice scheme, our director and designer come together to create two lunchtime performances inspired by the production they have been a part of, Marguerite, under the leadership of Jonathan Kent. Taking scenes from the plays
Les Liasons Dangereuses, La Dame Aux Camelias and
Therese Raquin. This is the first project in a series of two, drawing from the influences in Marguerite.
Mal d'Amour will explore representations of poisoned romance in French literature, following the characters as they fall foul of humanity's deadliest weakness; love.
