The third of Simon's Suite Trilogy,
London Suite offers four stories, each played out in suite 402 of a fashionable hotel in, well, London. Brian and Billy discuss potentially felonious business dealings on opposite sides of a gun; Lauren sets up a date for her widowed mother with an allergy-ridden Scotsman; Sidney and Dianna (of
California Suite) play out another chapter in their complex relationship; and Mark and Annie's misplaced Wimbledon tickets are the least of their worries as a cheerful hotel manager, a myopic bellman, and very British physician lend more angst than aid. Very much in the tradition of his earlier plays Plaza Suite and California Suite, the stories combine drama and comedy laced with Neil Simon's classic witty and sharp dialogue.
