From beauty and tranquillity, a sense of order and history alongside the higgledypiggledy to the hard, unforgiving, and dangerous the streets of London have inspired many stories. Sky Or The Bird have drawn together writers from the four corners of London to bring you stories that will send you out on to the streets of the capital in love all over again. Four distinct voices writing from the heart about life in London- cruel, poignant, tender and contemporary - this is London in the early 21st Century. Sky Or The Bird are a new company with writers at the centre of what we do - be they new writers, emerging, established or long since safely in their graves - we believe in the power of the writer to create a picture that is compelling, unique, and shows how to look anew at the world we live in. This is a debut show - part of a projected series of events that look at facets of London life in the 21st Century.
