London Calling - The High Cost of Living/Water Sculptures archiveLondon Calling will be the first in a series of Upstart Productions using theatre to explore aspects of contemporary London life. The High Cost of Living - A young couple come to realise the emptiness both of their relationship with one another and of the materialistic lives they lead. A painfully honest drama about what happens when we realize that the things we thought we wanted aren't the things we want.Water Sculptures - A flood destroys the 2012 Olympics and most of London with it. An artist, an athlete and an office worker find themselves on a rooftop, struggling to deal with their changed world. A surreal and darkly comic exploration of how we cling to our dreams, and how we cope without them.
