Lolita archiveAn adaptation of Lolita and Humber's forbidden love. Richard Nelson has adapted one of the best known and most controversial stories of the 20th century, LOLITA, from the novel by Vladimir Nabokov, for a 90-minute monologue. Humbert Humbert is a European intellectual adrift in America, haunted by memories of thwarted adolescent love. He becomes obsessed and involved with 12-year-old Dolores Haze; but first he must deal with the mother.
