Details

The play details the celebration and tensions of a disparate group of Caribbean people, living under the same roof in 60s Nottingham. Property, Not Prejudice, was the battleground - Rooms in the house are rented to fellow Caribbeans, with heartbreaking and often hilarious results. Lattisha, now deteriorated into a Blanche Dubois-type figure, is married to Samson, a Calypso singer and compulsive gambler.
