An evening of laughter from Michael Frayn, author of Noises Off and Clockwise among many other plays and films. This is a selection of short plays written for The Secret Policeman's Ball and the TV series Beyond a Joke Join Stephen and Jo at their dinner party when their plans go horribly wrong and meet Mrs Tooting and her three ghastly sons. Hilarious and thought-provoking, this is a study of the irony of hopes and the way life mocks them.
