In La Mort de Krishna, Peter Brook, the 'master conjurer of European theatre delves deep into the heart of Hinduism s primary text, unearthing it s archetypal wisdom and profound human insight for a new generation. Performed in an empty space and accompanied only by a solo musician, the storyteller recounts how Krishna descends to earth to broker peace between warring factions, only to fall tragically by the wayside. Performed in French with English surtitles.
