Iceland. 1940. The British are coming. Lost Watch present the work in progress showing of our second show. KATE follows the story of an Icelandic family who open a kiosk to serve the British soldiers who invaded Reykjavik during the second world war. With the number of men doubling with the arrival of the troops, the women of Iceland certainly have something to focus on. A lively reflection on the shared and lost history between Iceland and England with live music and lots of wind. After the performance the audience will be invited to a question and answer session with the cast, writer and all of Lost Watch, to help us develop the piece before heading up to Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year. Come along for free tea, coffee, biscuits and good old fashioned fun. Duration: 1hr. Suitability: 12+
