Details
Karry Owky is an evening of bawdy comedy, though as the piece progresses and the characters collide in their grotesque and vile manner, the comedy gradually bleeds out, leaving a tragic finale. Once upon a time, we lived in huts in small communities. In the evenings we would gather round a fire, and sing songs to each other. What was important was not that you could sing, but that you could share something. The community spirit or so goes the Myth. A blisteringly funny portrayal of yobbish attitudes, pub culture and what happens when those attitudes are challenged. Contains strong language. Running time 1 hr 10mins
