Jerusalem is a comic musical which reflects on the problems faced by a nation, as we collectively come to terms with our shifting identity. The autobiographical anecdotes of protagonist Shane Solanki interlace with a story of three British-born Asian brothers, and the events which befall them as they struggle to come to terms with their identity. Scratch Performance. Featuring acclaimed dancer Shane Shambhu (Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company) and actor Ajay Naidu (whose recent credits include Complicite’s production of ‘Measure for Measure’) among many others.
