This intensely personal comedy drama focuses around Jake, a writer, who is more successful in fiction than in life and when the pressures of day-to-day life become too much to bear retreats into his imagination. Jake deals with a marital crisis by daydreaming about the women in his life. The trouble begins when the spectres of Jake's women appear without his bidding, and insist on debating and arguing with him even as he is in hot pursuit of a new romance.
