Vince, a struggling independent film critic who is rapidly approaching 30, discovers he is HIV positive. As his world falls apart, his illness opens up a number of unexpected friendships, with people he never would have met. His story is juxtaposed by a dramatised re-telling of the factual events that lead to the virus becoming so widespread in the 1980's, and the desperate efforts of the doctors who tried to stop it. Award winning writer Lance Nielsen, no stranger to controversial subjects, having tackled the Hillsborough football disaster and Northern Ireland now turns his attention to the AIDS virus in his latest production.
