Hard Hearted Hannah and Other Stories archivePart-gig, part-theatre, and a complete voyage of discovery, Cartoon de Salvo revive the lost art of the 'jug band', using souped-up washboards, guitars, banjos and cider jugs for bass. As audience members choose songs from a playlist, the Salvos will spin a yarn inspired by them. Every performance of this improvised show will be entirely unique. One of the UK's most exciting theatre companies, Cartoon de Salvo have captivated audiences with their giddying cocktail of storytelling, script-defying impro and live music over the past 8 years. Hard Hearted Hannah and Other Stories is the latest freewheeling antic from the team behind hit comic romance Meat and Two Veg and 2005's outdoor theatre event, The Sunflower Plot.
