Hamlet: 1603 archiveHamlet, but not as you know it. A grieving prince, an incestuous mother, a murderous uncle and revenge is set in motion. The rarely performed Bad Quarto text (also known as the First Quarto), first published in 1603, 20 years before the more commonly known Folio version. At almost half the length of later versions and with considerable changes to both text and character, this is Hamlet with the brakes off: a rollercoaster ride through Shakespeare's most dysfunctional family. See Hamlet in a new light.
