Details

An English woman, an Irish woman and an estate agent, are trapped in a colourless hotel. The TV is stuck on one channel, the windows don't open and a muzak version of Hallelujah is being pumped into the room. None of them can afford the minibar. A black comedy about being in the red. Hallelujah is Theatre503’s Rapid Write play for 2009. Rapid Write is a play commissioned by Theatre503, which is written in a mere three weeks before the start of rehearsals. Rapid Write is an immediate response to current affairs and has become an annual event at 503.
